Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a truly beautiful day with family, celebrating the Resurrection! On Sunday our precious preacher truly spoke to hearts. He talked about being blessed in everyday life. The good, the bad, the ugly we still should realize how blessed we are. Sadly, this is something that we just …forget sometimes.
We all want to be like Bruno Mars and feel “hashtag blessed” but sometimes a fog can blur our vision. I know I am guilty of becoming wantchy about having to go to WalMart and then someone pulls out in front of me and boom I see nothing but red and all my blessings are under the fog. Kyle and I started a new goal of trying to find small appreciations during each day. That way we focus on the little blessings and constantly see God’s blessing that are right in front of us every single day. These small moments of seeing sun rays or hearing baby giggles or even leaves falling from a tree…those things are the little appreciations that help recenter our lives.
#blessed has become such an epidemic, on Instagram 70,298,000 people have posted using this hashtag. As I scroll through those photos it is filled with precious families and babies dressed in their Sunday’s best for Easter. Which makes my heart happy, but if you continue scrolling you find pictures of designer bags or high end cars. Although I do agree those people with the more high ends pictures are #blessed I also think the person capturing their pancakes and Sunday Funday gear are equally blessed.
So my goal for you is to find your small appreciations. Find what make you feel blessed each and every day. Because even on your worse day you still are so incredibly blessed. These photos are some of the small pieces that make me re-check, make my heart happy, and make me reflect on how truly blessed I am…even on my worst days.
Happy Monday! I feel blessed by knowing each of you! As always thank you for reading and have a fabulous day!
